Pope Leo X(italian) : “a drunken German who will change his mind when sober”.
Pope Benedict XVI(german) :,,That Martin Luther? He wasn't so bad.."
Morala>Round up the altar boys for good old fashioned violence in the name of God.Ce ironie a sortii,a trebuit sa vina Ratzinger pt ca poor old Martin sa aiba sansa unei reconcilieri istorice.
,,Cardinal Kasper said: “We have much to learn from Luther, beginning with the importance he attached to the word of God.” It was time for a “more positive” view of Luther, whose reforms had aroused papal ire at the time but could now be seen as having “anticipated aspects of reform which the Church has adopted over time”.
Trebuie sa beau o bere in cinstea acestui memorabil moment.. Hip-hip-hurray for Vatican and Martin Luther..Deus vult:))o sa fie pline pub-urile de catolici si protestanti imbratisati iar derby-ul Old Firm nu se va mai juca intrucat suporterii vor fraterniza :))
Bye
