Am gasit asta despre influenta catolicismului in Creta in acel timp.

During the Venetian occupation which lasted until 1669, the ecclesiastical situation in Crete changed once more. The Venetians sent away the Orthodox prelates of the island, re-organised the church according to the Latin model and sought to convert the orthodox Cretan people to Roman Catholicism.
