"Suferintele Mamei Blondina, o martira a Siberiei"
Ce chinuri a putut indura aceasta femeie, fiind dusa in Siberia pe nedrept si cum si-a pastrat credinta in Dumnezeu.

"May God Give You Wisdom!" - the letters of Fr. John Krestiankin

Letters to laypeople...
"One of the most important and necessary gifts from God is the gift of discernment. We need it in everyday matters, and even more so in spiritual life.
Thank God for His mercy, that you have found faith; but even before this, dear T., though we lived in sin, we were not without God. You received an education; wouldn't it be a sin to forget about this?
Well what would happen if everyone took up floor rags and began to peacefully save themselves through the unaccountable washing of floors?
No, this should not be.
You will not be held accountable as a simple aunty with little understanding, but as a person to whom much was given."

"In the not so distant past, when your mind and heart had not yet come into contact with God's Truth, your reaction to your surroundings was the truth of your life. You did not act against your conscience.
It is quite another matter for a believing person to use such methods of protest - it would be a LIE against his faith.
God's Providence is always right. If He allows us to experience the bitterness of modern life, then with an undoubting trust in God, this is the only saving path for us. What do these words of the Holy Fathers mean: <<The last will be greater than the first?>> The last, who are weak spiritually and physically, impoverished in mind and heart, suddenly surpass in God's eyes those who labored in His fields for their salvation from childhood? But this is God's voice spoken through the saints.
During these terrible times when the spirit of Orthodoxy has become scarce in the world, the path of God's Truth means preserving faith and trust in God, not wavering or murmuring, preserving love for those who have gone astray, and pitying our enemies. This is how our salvation is wrought.
That is all."

Implicit o carte pe care o rasfoiesc adesea in drum spre casa

"De la poezie la rugaciune", de Dorina Stoica

Euharistia
Cred Doamne, aduc marturie
Cand te primesc dar ceresc,
Cred Doamne, ma impartaseste!
Si astazi cu paine si vin
Care prin har se preface
In Trup si Sange divin.
In sufletul gol e intuneric,
Mi-e frica si incep a ma ruga,
Ma rog si chem sfintii din Pateric
S-aprinda faclia din inima mea.
Nimic bun Doamne nu am lucrat
Le arde acuma pe toate
Nu ma lasa in pacat !
Nu vin la tine cu fala
Ci vin ca un om ticalos !
Ma iarta Doamne, ma spala
Si fa-ma din nou sanatos.

Dupa chipul si asemanarea Sa
Scotocind prin ganduri
Tot de Tine dau.
Cautand un sprijin
Tu esti primul Dar.
Indraznind incerc cu teama
Sa Te aflu tot pe Tine
Si privind in jur, la semeni,
Vad figura Ta din nou.

Gandurile sunt epave,
Ce din larg, la maluri trag.
Tu esti Painea si esti Vinul
Pentru noi, Parinte drag !
Peste ochi cad pleope grele.
Se inchid. Tu esti liman.
Obosita si flamanda,
Cu zdrente de vise
Fluturand a ajutor,
Iar si iar ma-ntorc la Tine,
Ducand Crucea Ta sa mor.

PS: am citat fara drept de copyright. Dorina, ma ierti.

"Thus God's servants who have had the highest and most exalted inspirations have been the gentlest and most peaceable men in all world. Such were Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Moses was called "a man exceedingly meek above all men." David is praised for his mildness.

On the contrary, the evil spirit is turbulent, bitter, and restless. Those who follow his hellish suggestions in the belief that they are heavenly inspirations can usually be recognized because they are unsettled, headstrong, haughty, and ready to undertake or meddle in affairs. Under the pretext of zeal, they subvert everything, criticize everyone, rebuke everyone, and find fault in everything. They are men without self-control and without considerations, who put up with nothing. In the name of zeal for God's honor, they indulge in he passions of self-love." (Francis de Sales -- "Treatise on the Love of God")
