Si poate ca s-ar putea face si altfel. Nu stiu si pentr un om este neplacuta scufundarea cu capul si traumatica. Imaginati-va sa va bage cineva deodata cu capul in apa. Un adult stie ca trebuie sa-si ia aer, mai rezista si tot este rau. Un copil nu stie.
Intrebati si voi pe unul care a fost salvat de la inec prin ce a trecut.

Au un reflex inascut de a-si tine respiratia, reflex care se pierde mai tarziu daca nu e exersat.

Babies immersed in water will spontaneously hold their breath (apnea), slow their heart rate (reflex bradycardia), and reduce blood circulation to the extremities such as fingers and toes (peripheral vasoconstriction).[1] During the diving reflex, the infant's heart rate decreases by an average of 20%.[1] The glottis is spontaneously sealed off and the water entering the upper respiratory tract is diverted down the esophagus into the stomach.[2] The diving response has been shown to have an oxygen-conserving effect, both during movement and at rest. Oxygen is saved for the heart and the lungs, slowing the onset of serious hypoxic damage. The diving response can therefore be regarded as an important defence mechanism for the body
